The best self help books will be different for each and every female. However, I have come up with a list of the best self help books for women based on the books that I have read and have helped changed my life.
The books below have impacted my own life for the better in many ways. I have reviewed each one, told the story behind it and detailed how it has improved my life.
I am going to generalize here, and I realize this is not true for every women but women tend to have more issues in life such as overworrying, putting everybody before themselves, time management, being self deprecating, dealing with guilt and not taking full responsibility for their finances.
The self books that I have read have helped me with the following life issues
Fear - overcoming fear and not letting it hold you back.
Worry - overcoming excessive worry
Finances - taking charge of my financial situation
Time management - stopping myself from juggling everything from motherhood, to career, to relationships.

What authors and books do they like? Is there a new book by their favorite author that's recently been published. Are there any similar books or authors that they haven't tried that you know they will like.If you're buying a practical book - think about what their hobbies are? Is there a book that would compliment their interests?
Do they need help with something? Perhaps they lack confidence cooking but would like to do more - buy a beginner cookbook. Are they learning to drive? Would they like tips on learning a craft or other skill?
